Since Games Workshop (Citadel) has switched over to their new 147 new paints system, the old paint rack at Bakers has ta go! They've put all of the old paints on sale at $2.07 to move them out, pretty sweet deal if you ask me! Please remember though, these prices are a limited time only, until they sell out and they can't guarantee availability of specific colors, just that they will all be $2.07 until they are gone. Also, I will post a link to the new Necron images leaked on the interwebs recently. That triarch stalker and the new canoptek spiders look ridiculously good. This link should take you right to the post with thepicks, if not it's post #153.

Granite City Waaagh!Fest Terrain Contest

Ok folks. Finally got off my buff and wrote up the rules for the Granite City Waaagh!Fest Terrain Contest. All of the important (and not so important ;) ) information is available at the Waaagh!Fest website.

Good luck to all that enter, I can't wait to see what people do. If there's anough turnout we might make this a yearly thing and maybe even alot some $$$ to prizes for it. Who knows?

EVENT! Warhammer 40K tournament at Baker's Hobby on May 5th, 2012.

$10 entry fee.

Be there at 9:30, start at 10:00.
1,500 points standard rules.
Judged on painting completeness, not quality.

Three rounds
9:30 show up
10:00-12:00 round one
12:00-12:45 lunch
12:45-2:45 round two
3:00-5:00 round three
5:15-5:30 awards

OK - you know you all are going to want a shirt with this on it... ------->

A huge orky Waaaaaaaagh! thanks and shout out to Taytonclait. He's graciously allowed us to use one of his fantastic pieces on our poster to promote the event. If you haven't already, you should go over to his Deviant Art gallery and get an eyeful of all that coolness. (he did twist my arm for some bitz though, like any good big mek should :) )

I should have t-shirt design and ordering up online by early next week so keep yer eyes peeled for that.
